Romans 15-1 Cor. 5- God is talking to you!!

I feel a stirring.......I want more people to read their Bibles on their own.....What would you want me to do about that, Lord?  Should I start a "Community Bible Reading Study", like a book club?  I can't do that!  I am not gifted at teaching!....I've never done it......

These are the thoughts going through my head these days when I get up to do my reading.  Again, it's like God is answering my private thoughts and questions with his Word, as I simply keep going in my daily reading.

This is what I was reading this week, "When I (Paul) came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God....I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling." (That would be me!) "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power." (1Cor. 2: 1-5)

It was like God was answering my thoughts, saying, "You don't need to be eloquent, or a theologian, just encourage people to read my Word and I will do the rest!"
Well, with that encouragement, I went to the women's pastor at my church this week, with a proposal to start a New Testament Bible reading group at our church, for the community!  I don't know if it will happen...but I was obedient to the prompting I had from God, through his word.

If you are reading and feel inspired, do something about it!! Don't just think, "Oh, good point!" and then move on with your day!  Put what you read into practice!!  God is talking to you!!

BTW, if you live near me, I would love for you to help me get this Community Bible Reading Idea off the ground.
Let me know if you feel God calling you to be apart of getting others to read the New Testament as you have been doing!!
