Day 72~ Titus 1-3
Titus is a very practical letter! My take away is, “The grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It ( the grace of God) teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions…” (2:11)
We can learn “what is appropriate to sound doctrine”(2:1) We can learn all the practical steps from pastors like Titus and Timothy, but it is the grace of God (truly understanding what that is) that prompts us to act as the thankful servants we are. With thankful hearts, good flows.
“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” (Luke 6:45)
Pretty simple! If Christ is in you heart, speaking good things and “living self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age” (2:12) will be the natural out pouring.
