Day 69~ Eph 4-6

In our scientific, research based world, a nonbeliever may throw the accusation out, "Christianity is a blind faith that involves no scientific fact."  "Religion is a crutch."  If you listen to the world long enough, you can start to think that Christians are a bunch of jello brains unable to articulate an intelligible thought.
Yet, Paul, here in Ephesians, talks a lot about learning.  The thing is, the world doesn't like what we are learning.  The world is learning to "indulge in every kind of impurity" (4:19), while we are learning to stand firm in the truth. (6:11)
Paul actually goes out of his way to stress that we need to continue to learn.

"That, however is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him..."(4:20).
"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self." (4:22)
"..find out what pleases the Lord." (5:10)
""Be careful, then, how you live- not as unwise but as wise." (5:15)
"Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is."
"..stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist." (6:14)

Doesn't that sound like we better keep reading the Bible even when we are done with the chronological reading?  I need to, at least, because I need to keep learning what pleases the Lord!
